There are various programs that allow you to unblock the "*****" in password fields but Profile's password doesn't come up like that when you open a file. There may be a possibility of Intuit programmers unlocking this (likely for a fee) but I've never run into it so I don't have any experience in this regard. -

I would put it on 700 ("Other Deductions") with an appropriate explanation such as "Goodwill included in income on financial statements" -

If you want the balance in the LLP after the 2010 repayment or inclusion in income then you would use a query of T1RRSPDeduction[77]-T1RRSPDeduction[78]>0. -

At some point the rental of the house becomes more than incidental rental use. I would tend to think that where the rental portion is greater than 50% then you must pro-rate your principal residence exemption to reflect the non-personal use of your house. I would check to see if there are any related tax cases if I were you. -

I couldn't agree more, Rich. I just don't think ticking every box is required to determine eligibility. If Profile doesn't add a schedule, I will do something for my clients in Excel (with an appropriate disclaimer) to estimate the tax credits, summarizing Child Tax Benefit, GST credit, and Trillium Benefit.
