Can you please elaborate on this? I've been flidding with both client explorer and the classic database and can't seem to get it to work. In need of such a report as the original poster as well.

    Thank you!

Not sure if this explanation is appropriate but here goes. Doing a report like this, I think, is done using the classic database. First open the open file screen either under the database menu option or Ctrl O. Doing this opens the open file screen. Firstly if you are wanting to select only certain client and efile status files then unclick those which you want to exclude. Then click on print database and check the boxes which are appropriate for your requirements. I think it is that simply if I read your post correctly. If not this message will self destruct in 5 seconds. Good luck Jim................Phil. :D

  3. In Topic: Insertion of logo in Joint letter fails

    Posted 7 May 2011

Bizarre, This post has been going for at least 1 year but no notice of profile even caring by at least posting saying that this is an issue and will look into in. Jeezzzz. Wonder why the lemmings are jumping ship. Just acknowledge it is a problem and will try to fix it. It does make me wonder as to how much they really care. I spend some hours farting around getting my joint letters to print. Do you want to reimburse me the time I spend getting it printed correctly. Not likely. How about I just deduct it from next years price.

The logo on my client letter has been stable this year... I think there is something on your side of things.

My question is Tim, do you use a bitmap or meta file as your logo file. I dont know how this could be something on my end. I insert the file and it's ability to print changes from one minute to the next and others are experiencing the same thing. Hard to imagine. Think you just hold your toungue right when you print them. <_<

Also my settings for default file type seems to change from 2010 to most recently used on a periodic basis. That has happened in previous years as well and others have commented on it too. So i think that this software is getting buggier and buggier and nothing changes from year to year to fix these "known issues".

    Venting over!!

Were you able to find a resolution to this problem? We have been using our logo in the template letter for 7 years without problem and this year it is a disaster as the logo prints only intermittently.

No it still is a problem. Unfortunately this year it does this disappearing act on both the joint and client letters.

I'm tired of this game of posting and sometimes getting a response from Profile then nothing happens Its like the carryforward of the 5 year comparision. Known problem for multiply years. What exactly is Profile doing all summer. This is getting to be more than just a little thing. I spend enough time at the office. Fix these little problems and customer service maybe a monicer that Profile can hang on their shingle. It certainly isnt now.
