    I enter a client's RRSP contributions for the year. I enter the amount of the HBP repayment. Profile gives me the entire amount contributed to the RRSP as a deduction for RRSP. If I override the deduction amount, Profile puts the balance as a carry forward.

    Am I missing something? Do I really have to make two overrides?

    Two entries needed!

    You have to enter the details of the HBP in the bottom section of the RRSP entry form.

    Then go to the top, under the listing of the RRSP contributions and enter the amount of the HBP repayment.
