Hello,

I have been having this problem since early December-2011, Profile was notified but they haven't been able to provide a solution, let me try my luck with other users.

I am using Profile-T1-2011.1.1 on XP, upon saving the options-package, I keep getting error: "Value cannot be null, parameter name: value"

Once the error pops up:

a. Profile doesn't save changes to the options-package, and sometimes reverts back to the original package settings, i.e. when the Profile was last used.
b. Also, cannot quit Profile, have to use Ctrl+Alt+Del to kill Profile

I have been through numerous exercises of un-installing and re-installed Profile (even registry cleaning)on different machines and still get end up with the same errors. I think the problem occurs upon using "Options/Modules", or it may also be due to adding monitors on the bottom bar.

1. Has anyone else encountered this problem?
2. Is there any way to manually edit the options-settings-file, rather than trying to edit through Profile, i.e. how to open .pof-files (my guess, thats where Profile is saving options information)?

Thanks in advance.
Hasan

you can go to the directory where you saved it, and delete it...

Hasan can I have a look at your computer, I am an IT professional with income tax training and experience. I help a small circle locally with the technical issues related to installation and any other technical issue. It could be that some config particular to your system is causing this issue. I am not from intuit.

Let me know and I can contact you and remotely watch your system while you show me the error.

Adamee: I just figured out the problem. It had to do with adding monitors at the bottom. I was dragging the fields to the bar, rather than using "+" sign.

thanks
