Why does the amount in the Capital Divident Account not show up in the carryforward section of the Tax Summary page.
I noticed that this happened for two years in a row now - for my 2009 and 2010 corporate tax returns (T2 Return).
I need it to show up to assure me that the cumulative totals are accurate from one tax year to the next tax year.
Is it a bug in your software?
The GIFI code I used was 2962. What form is used to store the carryforward data? Where does it import to on your software?

Thank you for your answer. What is in your thumbnail is what used to be on my tax summary but then it just disappeared in 2009 but if I use the 2008 software instead of the 2009 software to carryforward my data into 2009, it shows up. Once I go back to using the 2009 software, it disappears. The CDA line just is not there at all.
So that is why I though it was a bug.
I will have to call the technical support line and see what went wrong because I did not declare the capital dividend and it is imported properly in my balance sheet but amount just disappears from the summary page for carrying forward.

I have been unable to understand this from an accounting viewpoint.
Nor from a tax viewpoint.
Nor from a Profile software viewpoint.
Form the earlier information posted, it looks absolutely correct that there is nothing on the carry-forward summary page. However, this 1ater post information contradicts the information givin in the Original Post.
Perhaps the thread could be rebooted from scratch? Which version of Profile is being used?
