It's never actually worked. We just changed the computers over to windows 7 x64 from XP. It was working in XP and now everything was just freshly reinstalled in windows 7 x64 and the pdf printer doesn't work.

You have to install your own PDF printer instead.

Just wanted to post back to say I got this fixed. In the end all I had to do was go to the printer settings and change the port from LPT1 to Null and then everything started working just fine on our windows 7 x64 machines.

When I try to PDF/archive a file, I get a not responding error and have to close and restart the program.
If left, this error message comes up:
List index out of bounds (-1)
The printer port for Profile PDF is set as NUL
I have attempted to call Intuit Technical support but they have a message saying that they cannot take any calls.
Let me know if anyone has a fix for this.
Thanks!

Wow! We really are on our own, aren't we? They cancelled the emails, and told us to phone....now this. I'll be terrified that something else is going to go bump in the night. Much as I don't like this, I wouldn't want to trade places with the techs at Profile....they'll be dealing with a whole lot of pressure too!

I called Profile Premier support yesterday at 3:00pm MST time and got a recording that they were closed for the day! Couldn't believe it so I called again and got the same thing.
Called regular support, sat on speaker phone for 45 mintes until they responded. They had no idea why the Premier service was reporting as being closed. (Good news though - they did help me with my issue.)

I said that I got an error message when I tried to PDF the tax return. The girl on the phone did not know what "PDF the return" meant.
She asked me if the file had any errors then asked if I had closed and re-opened the program.
She then took my name, phone and email and said someone would get back to me in 48hrs.
I will not hold my breath.
