Something a little off topic here.

I'm looking for a large office desk for my home office. At times I have a lot of stuff on my desk and it feels cramped. I've been looking online but can't really find anything that would fit my needs (I live in Edmonton). Can anyone suggest a good retailer for an executive type desk with a large working surface, room for a PC, phone etc. I don't need a hutch or book shelves and my budget is $3-5K.

Thanks.

Why not look for a garage sale? Can make you spend less then.

Look up a marine cabinet maker, you know, the people who design and build boat interiors. They are, in my view, genius at creating optimal space for use ... once your needs are understood ... with 'friendly' products and cost value. If you have that kind of budget, why not commission a desk to suit you and your space instead of a a generic product you have to put up with in your space? Just be very confident your ideas are interpreted clearly by the designer/builder!
