When filing my first two returns, I receive the message "Mandatory information is either invalid, missing or not in the correct sequence. Errors have been detected with the T1 portion of the return." I don't see any information that has been missed - one return was very simple - Pension income only and medical expenses. The information has been carried forward from last year but I also created a new return and tried to file but still have the same problem. Any ideas?? Thanks

Sounds like you may have missed some settings. Try options, efile.

Is the Canadian Resident yes or no checked? I seem to recall a similar problem back in March and that was the solution.

It was one of the settings. I could efile from my laptop so did a comparison of the settings and there it was. Thanks for making me check.

In Email/Options - "Efile Internet" , all I did was unclick -"prompt for session type before connecting to CRA". It was that easy, too bad technical support didn't mention it.

Thanks for sharing this as during the single efile process yesterday, my transmission page keep running without showing the DCN. CRA says it's accepted.
Will try to your trick if this happens again later.
