t4rsp refund of prmiums box 18 Tax implecation

I am working on a set of taxes .. husband deceased in 2010 and wife gets rsp's transfered into her name ... [b]does she have to pay tax on the amounts transfered into her name ... I am reporting from Box 18 on a T4rsp??

Thank goodness you asked the question

Your question suggests that probably you should not be doing these tax returns without help. You're running the risk of having her pay tax when it goes into her account and again later when she draws it out of her account. Be careful....you're probably missing a slip.

It isn't that b2b is probably missing a slip... b2b is definitely missing a slip. And b2b should have known that the slip was missing and exactly which slip was missing.

I highly recommend this page to start: http://www.cra-arc.g...h/menu-eng.html I'd look at unmatured RRSP. You should know what an unmatured RRSP is.
