As I have been a ProFile user since almost day 1, I am not suprised to receive an email from Intuit

Dear Reg,
As a valued customer we are interested in your opinion regarding Intuit’s Professional Accounting and Tax products. Please consider completing our short survey, it will take you less than 2 minutes to complete . Your feedback will assist us to develop new products and offerings designed for accounting and tax professionals. We appreciate that this is a busy time of year, but your input will ensure we are building products that best meet your needs!
Click here to start the short survey
Hurry, the survey is only open until Wednesday April 6th!
Thank you again for your time and assistance.
Yours Truly,

Lee McKenzie
Product Manager
Accounting Professionals Division
Intuit

So tell me Lee where were the questions about "Intuit's Professional Accounting and Tax products"

The only questions were about TurboTax. Surely not even Intuit would try to suggest that TurboTax is a Professional Tax product???

I first instinct was this is a spam and may attach the malware. Thanks but no thanks.

I got the Turbo Tax survey and the Profile survey which you can see below.

Say yes to the last question and you get to add your contact info.

Hello everyone,

Obviously, as a professional preparer, it doesn't make much sense to send you a Turbo Tax survey. There was a glitch in the email tool we use and the wrong link got sent out by mistake to many of the recipients. My sincere apologies for this mistake. I must say we are rather red-faced.

Reg, I will PM you the proper link. Would love to hear from you if you can spare us another minute or two. Thanks for posting here to bring this to our attention.

Everyone affected should be receiving a follow-up email with a corrected link. We very much hope to hear your views reflected in the survey as we work together with you to shape the future of accounting tools and processes.

Once again, my apologies to all those who received the wrong link.

Lee:
Clicking on the link in the PM you sent me brings up the following:

Unable to load a survey. The survey or invitation id was not present in the URL or refers to a deleted survey or invitation.

Hi Reg,

I just sent you another PM but the link in that also will not work. The PM tool is cutting off the URL when it sends the message. If you send me your email address VIA PM I can get you a proper URL that way.

I believe we are also sending out a corrected email if you wish to simply wait for that.

Sorry for the added trouble.

Lee,

Got your survey and completed, thanks.

Realizing the code for profile is a bit long in the tooth, I believe it was originall written in 99, is corporate thinking of rewriting, and using a web based delivery?

Easter.

Lord, I hope no web based delivery. I prepare a number of tax returns while disconnected from the internet.

Hey,

I can't talk too much about future offerings (in fact, not at all, really. Thank-you SOX.) I will say that we aren't forcing anyone to adopt web-only tax prep next year or anything like that. We were simply looking to get a pulse on the attitudes of our customers around this space.

Thanks to everyone that responded, we appreciate your time.
