Client has been approved for the use of Medical Marijuana. She was give a choice of buying from Health Canada or buying seeds from same. This part is deductible as stated in RC4064.

She chose the seeds option and was wondering if the cost of the hydroponics equipment to grow it is deductible?

Anyone with experience in this area? Professional I mean, not personal, of course.

Anyone?

Anyone?

Dan it seems to me that as long as its use for your client is legal, then even though the equipment is not on CRA's list (don't think it's not exhaustive BTW), I would be inclined to write everything off....except the extra intake of food :)
