Profile on Windows Server 2008 (foundation)

would anyone have ANY information/experience with running Profile on Windows Server 2008 (foundation)?

I am not sure what Windows Server 2008 (foundation)is but we are running Server 2008 64 bit and when closing Profile it has been crashing the server. We have narrowed it down to the .NET framework, which is reported to cause similar problems when closing QB, and have now uninstalled all versions of .NET on the server and have our fingers crossed. We have not had any problems since .NET has been removed.
