Hello everyone. I have a small office with 6 employees and my concern is that an employee is downloading the Profile software at home and simply entering the user name and access code information at home and using the software that I paid for to prepare tax returns for other people (moonlighting). Is there anyway to hide the access code and/or user name in the licensee information so that the employee cannot see this information?

Your help is greatly appreciated.

Thanks,

My solution would be to fire an employee you cannot trust....

You really have no option.

You're absolutely right-just needed someone arm's length to agree.

Thanks,

You could set an Options password on each computer. In addition to preventing access to the License information, it also ensures that nobody is making unauthorized changes to the Options Package.

Access codes are listed in the help menu. I don't think an options password would restrict access to that area.

I'm with Bert. Walk him/her to the door and request a new access code from Intuit.

That is great-just what I needed. Thanks for the easy fix.
