Hi there,

Please, can anybody tell me, where on the T2 (in Profile) enter an incorporation cost? I know it has to be depreciated. And remember it was some special schedule for it. Or I'm dreaming? And what class would it be? And % of amortization? Pleeeease, tell me. My T2 is ready, waiting just for this.

Thanks in advance.

also please ensure that you complete schedule 141 completely, specifically part 1 line 095="no"(?) and line 097="yes"(?) , and any of lines 101 to 109 that apply

interestingly, HB new section 3064 wants different classification for this item than current gifi line 2010, so it may be good to double-check the financials

S10

gordon, would you think that new 3064 affects what should fall into the definition at S14(5) for ece and thus alter the ITA treatment?
if so, depending on dates, the OPs t2 and financials may need to be changed?

Thank you for the answers.
However, I don't see where to enter the incorporation cost on S10, and how to depreciate it..
Can anybody tell me please?

Paragraph 12 of section 3064 seems to exclude the incorporation costs from intangible assets, which would also seem to preclude the inclusion in ECE. My take, considering the amount expended and materiality, is to expense it as professional fees...

You can put this into S100 and corrrespoinding code is 2018 and Accumulated amortization of incorporation costs code is 2019. Try this it will work, then Balacnce you balance sheet.

Yes, of course!

Just do it on your own wall.
