Hi emilee
Tough subject to help with over the forums. I'll see if I can help a little.
Which database do you use? This will be easier to do with Client Explorer. In that way you could easily view these on-screen in real-time:
-Using the filter, check off only the T1 module and only for years 2008 and 2009. Clear the rest.
-In the status area check off only those that you set for completed returns. Clear everything else.
-Apply the filter.
That will show you only 2008 and 2009 returns that are completed. If you see any 2008 returns that don't have a 2009 equivalent then you know these are not completed yet. You can then play with the file status filters to get the view that you need. You can save this view to use again later and the data will always be live.
To get a printable list is a little harder. It will take two reports that you would then bring together (our export will only work with one year at a time).
-Pare down the list in your view you created above to only one of those years.
-Choose all the visible files and then right-click Export.
-Create and save your export options and then export it.
-Repeat with the other year (reusing your export format that you saved).
-Combine the two lists in excel and sort.
If you use the Classic Database, go to Database > Export and filter to get the file status you need and then you will recreate the export procedure similar to above.
If you need help with filters and exporting our support team will be able to give you a hand. Hope this helps you out somewhat!

Lee, my V2009.4.0 Basic's Database/Export shows the T1, 1997 to 2004 years only (the same under Report & Batch printing). Yet in all other commands under Database menu (such as Open, Delete, Move, etc.), it shows both the T1 and T2 modules with all years (including 2009) being listed. Your insight on adding the missing years/modules to my Database/Export listing (namely T1, 2005 to 2009 and T2) is much appreciated.

luiskam, I suspect this is a licensing issue. Certain database functionality only works with the years that you have a Premier licence for and I'm guessing that you bought a Premier license for 2004 and a Basic licence in subsequent years.
In ProFile, go to Help > License and it will detail out your license levels for each module year.
Getting a current year Premier licence will give you Premier functionality for all previous years as well.

You're correct, Lee. When you said "...if you use the Classic Database, go to Database > Export and filter to get the file status you need and then you will recreate the export procedure similar to above...", I thought the said feature in Classic Database applies to my Basic version as well. Thanks for your help though.
