Hi, We were using 2009 Q/B pro. We installed 2010. I notice that the new payroll tax table was uptdated, which is fine, but I just wanted some clarification. We are on a monthly payroll schedule. Our Dec hours will be paid out Jan 15. Should my Jan 15 payroll be based on the 2009 tax table?

Thanks so much for your input. :P

this is the profile forum, and has nothing to do with quickbooks

you should post quickbooks-type questions in the qb forum

however, your question really a question for your bookkeeper or accountant, especially since you appear to be in contravention of provincial employment laws for hourly workers

Don't know why you'd hold paying people for more than two weeks after them working... you may need check with a labour law specialist. You may also wish to post this question to Quickbooks, not ProFile.

However, (personal) tax is due when wages are paid, not when worked.

TIM TIM TIM,

Payroll is determined as to when it is paid out.
Januay 15 payroll is 2010 payroll. uses current payroll tables.
This payroll does not get added back to your 2009 T4's

That is what I said... perhaps you'd read what is written.
