I read the posts from 2007 regarding attaching Notes when Efiling T2's, and hope that after 2 years there is a better way??

I guess the form being a free cell would suggest that CRA doesn't actually bother with it, unlike the schedules that are numbered/coded. I would think if they didn't want the notes, there wouldn't be the question on S141. If they are really required then why not have Profiles Note Page compatible to copy and paste from Caseware, excel or whatever?

I find it hard to believe that all the people who efile corporate returns actually reinput notes into profile, there has to be an easier way isn't there????

Copy and paste is alot easier than reinputting. I print statements to a PDF file and then copy/paste the notes.

I have tried copy/paste to no avail, end up with a mish mash mess. Tried saving Caseware as a PDF but then cannot copy/paste. Perhaps "user" error but would definitely appreciate any tips.

I realize that the notes don't come out looking great (poorly formatted) but I've efiled many corporate returns with the notes and have not had CRA call me on any of these because of the poorly formatted notes. I don't think CRA really looks at the notes anyways unless the client gets picked for an audit.

My notes end up looking like a text dump...

CRA don't care... so why should I?

CRA could care less about the notes for Notice to Readers. I don't even bother sending them anymore. Waste of time.,
I am not wasting time to even cut and paste them

If you are using Caseware and Caseview for Financial Statement Reporting - in the export function on the file menu you can export to .rtf, which can be opened in Word format. When you are in Word format you can copy the text and paste it to the S100N without having to reformat. It keeps all the formatting set up in the Financial Statements.
