Hi there,

Just wondering, how Profile T2 handles multiple Provinces in same Year end.

e.g. Year Start - Jan 1st, 2009, Year End - Dec 31st, 2009

Continued corporation from Province A to Province B on August 1st, 2009

Please note that Federal Business No does not change, as it has continued from one Province to another, so there will be three Tax Returns

(1) Federal Tax Return - Jan 1st to Dec 31st
(2) Province A Tax Return - Jan 1st to July 31st
(3) Province B Tax Return - Aug 1st to Dec 31st

How, Profile T2 handles this ?

It handles it under the multi jurisditional form. Works fine, I have a Ontario, Alberta split., Before you contintue make sure the company is registered in each province.
use schedule 5, fill in the blanks and presto, everything works.

Put "MJ" under Corporation Info/Jurisdiction, then file-in the S5 schedule.
