Netfiling T5018 Returns

When I renewed my Profile software this year I upgraded the FX module from basic to premier in order to be able to netfile my information slips.

Call me challenged....... but I am having difficulty in figuring out how to netfile my T5018 slips using FX premier. I must be missing something 'basic'.

Does anyone hold the key to unlocking this puzzle?

Hey SPG,

You'll find it exceedingly difficult at the moment as this feature is not active for the current filing year. We're going through testing right now and this will be available in the next release of the suite.

When it is available, you will have to:
1) Have an FX file open and active in ProFile
2) In file properties, set the magmedia slip status to 'ready to file'
3) Go the Efile menu and choose Internet File Slips

I can't recall a December release that included the electronic filing of slips (I could be wrong). These are normally released in mid-January. We are currently in the process of finalizing that release now and are, so far, on track for that same general time-frame.

ehm.....

This is a forum owned by Intuit, who also sells a product that will file your T5018's electronically....

Kinda against the spirit of this board for you to place that link....

Sorry I didn't realize they had the ability to create T5018 e-Files.
I will remove my post
