I have carried forward a Dec/07 T2 in order to prep the 08. Upon printing have discovered it will not print RSI; in fact I can't view RSI format at all. Other client files are okay.

there has been another thread on this already

you are out of date with CRA requirements :(
(for paper, need bar code)

(and profile is barely up to date with 2008 requirements, but have not yet implemented end-of-2009 requirements)

those were no doubt earlier older ones of yours

In spring 2009, the newest versions of CRA-certified software will produce a T2 Bar Code Return that contains all the identification information and financial data. They will no longer produce the T2 RSI. Corporations will no longer be required to submit the T2 RSI. The paper quality and print legibility standards for the T2 Bar Code Return will be the same as for the T2 RSI.

profile t2 does meet these reqirements

2009-04-20
Mandatory Internet Filing for T2 Returns
As announced in the 2009 Budget Statement, beginning with tax years ending after 2009, corporations with gross revenues in excess of $1 million will be required to Internet file their T2 Corporation Income Tax Return using CRA approved commercial software.

profile t2 (basic) does not yet meet these requirements

Thanks, got it. I use the T2 basic and had updated over the weekend, so what it let me do last week with .0 version wouldn't let me with .1

Life is good.

The latest version is now V2008.6.2 even though it seems there is nothing shown in the "What's New" section from my download page there.
