While printing the B.C. taxpayer's 01/31/2009 T2 for C.R.A. paper filing, I notice ALL the filing schedule (federal & B.C.) RSI pages are not coming out. Only two (2) pages of the T2 Bar Code Return plus a bunch of the regular schedules are printed. Do we just submit the two (2) said T2 bar code pages & the signed consent form from now on? If this is the case, I find it amazing C.R.A. could retrieve all my filed info from the two shown bar codes! I better handle these with care.

Hi louiskam,

Yes, all the data that the CRA needs is now encapsulated entirely in barcodes. If you wish to see what is being sent in a submission to the CRA, whether it be via barcode or the internet, you can right-click on any Federal "RSI" form and choose "CRA submission view". This will pop up a new window showing you a treed view of the return with line items and data for each form used.

Hope this helps!

-Lee

The said "CRA submission view" content is so tiny to view in my 22" LCD widescreen monitor because all the filed data are jammed in one area. Can I set my "T2 Basic" to view it per schedule as before (in V2006-2009)? And is it possible to print it out?

At the moment, what you see is what we were able to provide all users with, regardless of license level, for the current release.

There is currently no better way to free-up screen real estate other than to collapse the tree-view of the forms. We noted the deficiencies that you have pointed out (including the printing) and they are on our wishlist for a V2 of this functionality. Please stay tuned!

Thanks Lee for the clarification. I was afraid initially when only two pages came out but when I looked at "CRA submission view", it is great technology. Less paper to handle. Great work :D.
