I carried forward a client T3 file into the 2008 T3 module (trust year end is March 10/09) and am getting a diagnostic warning saying "This year-end should not be completed in the 2008 module". Any idea what this means? I had no trouble last year and simply did a carry forward to work on the new return. I have checked for updates and do have the latest version of Profile installed.

It looks like a notification to alert/remind you that you are trying to prepare a 2009 tax return as if it was a 2008 tax return.
Which is the "latest" version you are using?

Hi Michael,
The 2008 T3 module supports year ends up to December 31st, 2009. The audit message you see is appearing because of a defect in the year end validation.
This will be resolved in our next release, 2008.6, due for release shortly.
In the meantime, the workaround is to ignore the message or sign it off. The calculation of the return is not affected by the presence of the message.
Thanks for bringing this to our attention.

Thanks Tara. I had a sense that it was an erroneous warning but I appreciate having the confirmation.
