Hi
I need to create a report from the client explore on who is accepted or eligible for efile. I can create within client explorer now the names, but want to print them out on a report as I also track our clients manually. When I tried to create the report, I couldn't find a field indicating accepted.

Does anyone know how to do a report such as this. I would like to see the following

lastname, first name, accepted, date accepted.

Thanks this is urgent.

I think the field is {efilestatus} not sure what the date accepted is...maybe {accepteddate}. Of course if this is urgent, i would call support.

How about using the classic database. Should work for what you need. I still use that exclusively. Blast from the past but old dogs..............you get the picture!!

Can you please elaborate on this? I've been flidding with both client explorer and the classic database and can't seem to get it to work. In need of such a report as the original poster as well.

Thank you!

Not sure if this explanation is appropriate but here goes. Doing a report like this, I think, is done using the classic database. First open the open file screen either under the database menu option or Ctrl O. Doing this opens the open file screen. Firstly if you are wanting to select only certain client and efile status files then unclick those which you want to exclude. Then click on print database and check the boxes which are appropriate for your requirements. I think it is that simply if I read your post correctly. If not this message will self destruct in 5 seconds. Good luck Jim................Phil. :D
