I cannot get Profile to export billing data to QB this year. It has worked fine for a number of years. I opened the appropriate data file in QuickBooks Premiere 2007. I clicked Options > Integration... and chose QB. QB asks if I want to allow access and I answer, "Yes, this time". I then get a message from Profile, "QuickBooks 2004 does not currently allow invoice transferring. Please watch for a QuickBooks 2004 patch that addresses this issue."

I don't even have QB2004 installed on this machine, just 2006, 2007, & 2009.

It isn't listed as a known problem. I have version 2008.3.5 of Profile Basic.

Any ideas?

I use the integration with QB for all my T1 invoicing and haven't had a problem in five years. The only thing I can think of is that when you answer "Yes, this time", you're only allowing Profile access to your QB file for this file. You should answer, "Yes, always". Other than that, I'm not much help other than to let you know that mine works fine.

I use QB Premier 2007 with ProFile Basic 2008, and integration works fine.

My settings just "carry forward" from year to year.

Somehow I remember a posting about a problem with the more recent version of QuickBooks in regards to integration.

I would recommend a "search" of the forums, if no one comes up with a better solution.

Ciao!
