Hi, everybody;
I have a question: may be, somebody can give advice:
I have a client who has “tuition fees & education amount” credits in Ontario Notice of Assessment (she was studying in University in Ontario); now she is living and working in Quebec.
Can she use these provincial credits (from Ontario Notice of Assessment) for preparation of Quebec tax return?
If yes – how?
I searched Revenu Canada (CRA) and Revenu Quebec (MRQ) websites - didn't find anything related; I called to CRA & MRQ - I got different GUESSES (not answers).
And, in general, is there some information about transferring “tuition fees & education amount” credits between provinces?
Thanks in advance to everybody who will provide some information.
Eric.

No
Different tax systems entirely so you can not transfer any Tuition or Education credits from another province to Quebec.
Nice thing though is that the credits remain until she leaves Quebec.

From Provincial S11 forms:
AB, BC, MB, NFLD, NWT, NS, NUNAVUT, SK, YT - transfer unused federal credit
ON - Unused provincial credits OR if you moved from Quebec unused federal credits
PEI - Lower of unused provincial, territorial or federal credits OR if you moved from Quebec unused federal credits
