Is anyone aware if Intra is still scheduled to be dropped at year end. Also, any ideas on a replacment for Tax Research, for limited use, at a reasonable price

Intra is finished, It is not being updated.
for a replacement

Go with the best, go with the rest , go with a CCH product. Thats what I have done. and no it is not resonably priced, yes it is expensive.

I have just raised my rates, costs are going up and so are my fees.

I went with the online personal and corporate tax, commentary, etc, $ 1,080..00 per year.

It had everything I wanted, I also buy in hard copy every year the Canadian Master Tax Guide. $80.00 or so.

It is for reading room material. Great for quick reference look up.

The former Intra is now called EverGreen and is published by the same people......The Knowledge Bureau

and is available at www.knowledgebureau.com.

I tried Intra for a couple of years, but, I no longer use it as I (very) much prefer CCH.

The "Best" low cost option for our work, in my opinion is from CCH...Preparing Your Income Tax Returns..published yearly for about $80.00.

CCH offers other more expensive options, but, you get what you pay for.

Ciao!
