Hi

I have a problem with a client. They have an advertising Company (A Ltd) with 2 directors. one of the directors has a seperate company (B LTD), a car hire business. she wanted to take out a lease for afew cars but couldn't get credit, so the garage sugested that she use her other company (A Ltd) to buy the cars!!!! She went through with this and signed as director a 3 year contract for 2 cars using A Ltd. The other director of A Ltd has just found out and is furious.
What should I do?
Obviously this is wrong as the cars have nothing to do with the Advertising business but how do I account for it?
Can the contract be canceled? or amended to the correct company?

Help

Sounds like a shareholder benefit to me. These people need an accountant and maybe a lawyer.

So what happened? Were you able to rectify the situation?

you are wanting a response from a poster who has never even read the first response and has never visitited the forum since posting the question over a year and a half ago???

purchasing a mystery novel may be more satisfying - the last pages of the conclusion will still be there ;)
