Are you sure you posted to the correct forum?

Profile doesn't have an "Accountant's Copy" in use or otherwise!

Hello, Bernice:
Yes, this is in the wrong forum; it should be in QuickBooks Forum. I do not know how to move it to the correct forum/

In answer to your question, when the year end accountant picks up your information to prepare year end entries, he may create an "Accountant's Copy" for his own use. With this he can look at your information and make some year end adjustments. When he is done, he should bring this file back and import/merge it in with your QuickBooks at which time you will have full functionality again. The Accountants Copy does somewhat limit what you can do.

You need to find out why an Accountants Copy exists - it is possible to turn it off but please do not attempt to do so if your year end accountant is actually using it.

If there is no good reason for the Accountants copy, we can help you turn it off.
