Suddenly, after updating ProSeries Premier, I find that the database will not go further back than 2005.
All the earlier files are still there, but I can't open them by clicking on them, and I can't index them into Client Explorer.
Has anyone any suggestion? Should I simply down load the program again and see if it gets it right this time?

Poor thing, must have thought tax season was over. :(
Stupid program.

ProSeries is the US program. If you are talking about that, you are in the wrong place. This is Profile, Canadian Tax Software forum.

Stupid preparer, me thinks

Do not believe you are actually talking about ProSeries here. Because then you would be speaking about the Homebase, not the client explorer.

ProSeries does not have a single program covering multi year. Each year is standalone. So if you do mean ProSeries, did you delete your 2005 program?

If you are actually talking about ProFile, what are your Proreg settings?

Methinks as well. I discovered my problem. I had downloadd the latest version, but only the teeny tiny download, which only has 2005 and 2006.
Hence no 2004 - 1997.

Many thanks to the super-fast, ultra-efficient and mega-patient phone staff from Support.
