I know have suggested this before and nothing came of it but I should think that this wouldn't be a real time comsumer for programming. How about setting the default page when in the various CCA schedules when inputting indivudual assets so the input screen takes up less room where we can actually read the columns of already inputted assets for class, description and year purchased instead of having to adjust the screen and column widths every time entrying that screen. This would apply to the S3detail for the same situation.(and maybe others)

How about it! Any other people run across this inconveniance. INTUIT? COMMENTS?

How about if you get a 22" wide screen monitor?

Works beautifully!

That provides enough room to view these pages as I described?

IF so i think i will be looking into that as I have a 4 year old computer ready for the kids room and will outfit the new one with one of those. Thinking about a double screen lay out as well. Anybody use 2 screens?

I have 2 22 wide monitors hooked up to this puppy. On a 22 wide you can almost fully open 2 apps side by side.

Can you go down to the electronics store near you and pick me up one of those laptops they sell with 22" monitor? Oh, and pick up the dolly I would need to wheel that puppy around.

Bigger is not always better nor should it always be required.

The initial request is valid and likely simple to change.

Not sure who is pushing whom these days. Do the hardware tecks make things bigger, stronger and faster because the programmers need it? Or are the programmers just building software bigger because they can? And force us users to buy more Ram, bigger hard drives and faster processors!!

"I can't see all of the screen at once so I should buy a bigger monitor". What kind of answer is that?

The really sad thing is that your 22" screens will someday be too small.

This is not derogatory to you Bert. Your answer is a sign of the times. I am just ranting against the times.

I use 3 19" monitors - all about productivity. When reviewing returns can view tax return on one screen, scanned docs on 2nd, excel working papers on 3rd. If need be can extend view over 1 to 3 monitors. Use product from digital tigers, bit pricy but I highly recommend. link www.digitaltigers.com
