I'm an old PC Tools guy, that got Symantec shoved down my throat, so I went to McAfee, but now McAfee seems to be going to bloatware...

I switched to Kaspersky Anti Virus last year - nice small, unobtrusive program that doesn't hog your computer. Very happy with it. I understand the Kaspersky engine is used by several other Anit-Virus programs.

I agree - Norton has become a system hog and just isn't what it used to be.

Tried McAfee on a couple of systems as well - wasn't very happy with it. Really strange - I kept getting e-mails from McAfee saying my license was about to expire, but the software installed on the PC didn't show an expiry date for the software,(strange - but true) I didn't know which PC they were talking about so had to call them to find out(they gave a utility to find out) got pretty pissed at them over it and won't go back.

Try Kaspersky.
