It would be nice to have a box to mark if the person is EI exempt or CPP exempt when entering a T4 slip. This would avoid overriding the insurable and pensionable earnings and also would eliminate the diagnostics indicating the override or that the program has calculated CPP or EI on the income.
This is the first year for our firm in using Profile and for the most part we are quite impressed with it. In past years we have used TaxPrep. TaxPrep had these boxes to mark.

Overriding the insurable earnings or marking a check box, works out to about the same amount of key strokes. I don't have overrides set to show in the audit summary, so I don't have to worry about signing off on them.
I could take or leave this improvement. I don't see it saving me alot of time.
