I would like to see a 5 year (or at least 2 year) side by side comparision printout for the Nisa form (other business statements to perhaps). I was just reviewing a 2000 return for a new client. I don't know what program his accountant used for it, but it was just like the 5 year for the t1 jacket. This would be very useful in year to year comparisions and one could track numerous kinds of info with this. I have done this in excel, but it being part of profile would save time as well as $'s and that's what it's all about.

Just an after thought would be to put in a field containing the calculated Gross Margin as well.

That would be handy in T2124's or T776's .. although, what happens when you have 4 different schedules or more? I guess you'd need different 5-year comparisons for those. Personally, to me, it doesn't even have to be a 5-year schedule - if you load the 5yr comparative, and double click on i.e. business income 1998, it would be nice to expand to those details directly.

..speaking of which - if you double click on employment income on the current 5-year form, you DON'T jump to the T1, or T4, or anywhere..

Just some thoughts over lunch.

I think Brent's idea is great! The form could be included in the group listing - like the CCA schedules or asset trackers.

This would be a great tool in client discussions.
