We are switching to Profile FX this year to complete all out slips; however, we still prefer to use colored paper with perforations. Has Profile have any contacts for the purchase of paper that meets the specifications of your forms?

Tony;
We do a lot of T4s and a smaller number of T5s.
We haven't bought paper for printing T slips for years.
CCRA supplies all the paper and they deliver. I return my order form in July, and in late November, the blank forms are delivered directly to me by courier - all at an unbeatable price - free.
If you are using a laser printer, CCRA supplies the forms and I believe Profile is formated for filling in the supplied forms. I personally use a standalone program which just calculates, corrects and prints T4s, T5s, T4As, T5018s, NR4s, etc. and do not use Profile for that task.
I don't know if Profile supports dot-matrix printers but CCRA doesn't even supply carbon-papered forms any longer.
My partner thinks it looks more professional when the forms are laser-printed on the actual forms - you may be able to up your fees!
The only T slips I print on plain paper are T3 slips because CCRA doesn't supply them in the laser format - as of last year.

Hi everyone,
We don't know of any perforated paper supplier that fits what Tony was asking for. That's not to say they aren't out there, we just don't specifically know of any. Making this a little more tricky is the fact that when doing the facsimile copy the printer will change the sizing of the output depending on the printers settings. If you can stick with one printer using the same settings this won't be an issue.
One other note: our T3 slips are only done in facsimile format. So ordering pre-printed laser format paper for T3 slips or summaries from CCRA may not help those that want to save costs that way.

Lee,
Okay, so you are telling us that T3 slip printing on actual CCRA forms is not going to be available for T3 with Dec 31, 2002 year-ends using Profile FX.
Can we assume that such printing will be available for 2003?
Since the flat form T3 slip just came out last week, Profile should be able to make the changes to print to the CCRA forms by next year, surely.
I certainly hope so......
