This is a suggestion for the future.
I had to re-enter a whole return because when trying to print, the "illegal procedure" message came up and the machine crashed. This was not Profile's fault but a thought occurred to me - why not have automatic saves at defined intervals the same way my WordPerfect word processor does?
Seems to me this would be a good enhancement.

Hello,

Try going into Options | Environment and select the File tab. In this area you can choose to have ProFile auto save files in case of a crash. I trust this is what you were looking for. Note that you will not notice the backup file until you actually crash. To always keep a separate file you must choose 'keep backup' in that same area.

There are more options as well. You can do a search in the HelpDocK on 'Auto Save' to come up with a topic that describes these in detail.
