Part 2 of the form does not seem to work. Even if you choose Yes to the answer at the beginning of Part 2, the numbers from lines 1 to 12 do not populate Part 2 of the form.

The result is that the form either reports too much gain, or no gain at all.

Is there a setting I am missing, or do I need to just override the boxes in Part 2?

Hi Smarek,

For Section A of part 2 to calculate (pre-1982 gains) you must also have filled out lines 1 and 11 in the above information section. If those lines are not valid in your situation then section A of part 2 is not required and will be blank. If the information section is filled out correctly, Part 2 Section B (post-1982 gains) should then calculate based on the figures in lines 3 and 6 of the information section.

If you have all of the above filled out correctly and *all* sections of Part 2 are still blank please email the file to us at support@greenpointsoftware.com so that we can investigate this further. We handle all files with complete confidentiality, but you may take out your client's identifying information if you wish.

I hope this helps.

Lines 1 through 11 are completed, but they do not complete Part 2. I have e-mailed the file to support@greenpointsoftware.com.
