Has any consideration been given to a GIFI import from accounting software, in particular Quickbooks?

Also, how about some diagnostics to warn about inconsistencies between the GIFI record and other parts of the return, such as T2S(1) and T2S(8)?

As well, it would be great if we could print to fax software, such as Winfax.

Keep up the great work!

If the other financial software you are using either stores data in the GIFI format or is capable of exporting GIFI format, Profile T2 can import it.
The June release will do more to link together the GIFI files with the T2 return, so audit message will be gererated when there are inconsistencies between them.
To print to a fax program, you need to go into Profile, Select Print Setup, turn OFF 'Always Use Default Windows Printer', select your fax program from the drop down list of available printers. To avoid problems, ensure the fax program is running when you print from Profile. The file should automatically be converted to FAX format, and be ready to send to your fax recipient.

Printing to Winfax does not work - can read most of the return except for data fields.
