Hi All,

I have installed profile on my network and entered the License code. On the machine I did the install from I have all modules no problem however any computers that do the Workstation Install are missing the FX module.

Anyone know how to fix this?

Hey,

If you go to your network folder for Profile (where you are running the workstation install from) you should find "ProReg.exe". Run ProReg on the applicable workstation(s) and check "FX2006.dll". When you load Profile the next time it should be there. :)

I ran into this same problem but the solution above did not fix it. Any other ideas? :rolleyes:

I would like to hear a work around that actually works as well.

I always find that in order to add a module, I have to download the full gpsetup.exe file and run it individually on each workstation selecting the custom option to ensure that, for example, the new FX2006 is selected. I have never been able to make it work any other way.

Periodic program modules seem to update just fine. I just finished doing this yesterday to add the 2006 FX so now should be okay until I have to do it again for the 2006 T3.

In order to access FX Forms from Workstation ProFile, ProFile Workstation will read the license from Startup.ini which is located in ProFile Directory.
Plesae go to your ProFile Directory where the Workstation execute from and open the text file “Startup.ini” and add your License Name and License Code.
It should look something like this:

[License]
Name=John Fakename
Code=1AA1 AA3A1 AA111

Save and close the file.
This should solve the problem.
