Just another issue that would be nice to see resolved in the March release; any chance Greenpoint?
On the T1273 when keying in the legal description on a partnership the "quarter" and "meridian" do not carry over the spouse. The "section" "township" and "range" carry over but not the 2 outside fields. Currently on any partnership statement this mean going to the spouses side and keying in this data.
BTW it might also be nice if each of the 5 fields were required by the auditor instead of just one before it was cleared. If someone wasn't including a field that it would require a checkoff. This would have brought up a warning on the spousal side when the 2 fields weren't carrying over correctly.
Hopefully some of the other issues (including spelling) will be addressed for the final time in this release also?

Just bringing this up to the top again... wondering if we'll see this resolved this year?
And a few more spelling issues...
On the T1273 codes under crop commodities
5102 Reads "Barley, Feed (42 lb/bu To 47" Should Read "Barley, Feed (42 lb/bu To 47)"
It's not a big deal but it is SLOPPY... and to our clients it appears like we can't spell or just are sloppy...
5160 Reads "Barley WB, Spec. Sel. CW Six Row" Should Read "Barley CWB, Spec. Sel. CW Six Row"
If you pull up the "Selection Dialog" and type in Barley some of these stand out fairly clearly... Example 5165 and 5170 are very similar grains and are spelled correctly...

A few more to watch out for if you prepare T1273s. I did just update to v2005.4.2 and it appears like the above mentioned issues are still here plus another one to watch out for...
On a T1273 partnership if you check off "Check here if nothing to report" under Section 7 and on the selection does not carry over to the partner. The data under these sections is transparent but for some reason this option isn't?

Just installed v2005.4.3 and looks like none of the above issues have had anything done to them. The spelling ones are minor, but for the price we pay and for the time it should take to correct it would be nice to see these resolved.
The issue with the legal land description and the "Check if Nothing to Report" fields would be nice to see resolved. Currently we have to double check any files that are a partnership as this data isn't carrying over to the partner... The spelling issues, well we just pass it on to the client that our software developer (Intuit) has been notified but has not addressed this and unless we manually change it on each file it comes up wrong. We will probably be filing a lot of these CAIS returns through till June 15th, I wonder if we can expect any of these resolved yet this year?

Hey,
Any chance of seeing any of these resolved? It is going on 2 months (and how many releases) for some of these issues (from the day they were posted here; not including direct emails). Just bringing them up again cause in fall/spring I would assume it'll be too busy again to fix...
